Presentation

In the heart of the Dérêches forest, this fun and recreational sport can be played with family or friends. Equipped with a Frisbee, you'll move around a course of 9 baskets, trying to make as few throws as possible.
Disc golf is based on the values of closeness to nature, fair play, courtesy and conviviality. Disc golf is played like golf, but instead of throwing a ball with a club, the disc golfer throws a disc (Frisbee) with his arm. The aim is to complete a course of 9 to 18 holes in as few throws as possible. The disc-golfer throws the disc (Frisbee) towards a target or "hole". Consecutive throws are made from the landing point of the previous throws. Trees and terrain are natural obstacles that challenge players. The hole is completed when the player has successfully thrown the discus into the target. He then moves on to the next hole, until he completes the course. The score is equal to the total number of throws added to the number of penalty points. For juniors, adults and seniors alike, this discipline is good for the health and requires no particular physical aptitude.
