Sentier pédestre : du centre de Montriond au Lac

A pleasant walk accessible to all, starting from the village centre and leading to the superb Lake Montriond.

Topo / step by step

> Departure behind the Montriond town hall

1/ Continue along the old road until you reach the trailhead sign on the right.

2/ Go up into the forest, at the fork stay on the left, follow the path towards Lake Montriond.

3/ Arriving at the parking area, turn right again towards Lake Montriond.

For the return trip:

1/ Cross the parking lot to the road, go down the road for about a hundred meters to the intersection and take the road on the right.

2/ Go down the road for 50 meters and take the path on the left.

3/ Follow the path until you reach the road (hamlet of Lavanchy)

4/ Continue for 30 meters and take the path on the left along the river.

5/ Continue to the Chebourins bridge, cross the bridge, and go up the left bank

6/ Cross the hamlet of La Ranche to the roundabout then continue straight ahead to the village of Montriond.
