A short distance from the Col de l'Encrenaz which separates the Chablais from the Faucigny, La Côte-d'Arbroz is nestled between 1000 and 1300 m altitude on a south-facing hillside, just a few kilometers from Morzine.

Côte-d'Arbroz in a few words

The name “Côte-d'Arbroz” means “wooded slope.” And it certainly lives up to that: you'll always see a multitude of trees around you, no matter where you are in the village. Logging has always been an important part of village life.

The other main activity was cattle farming. Farms still exist today, and in summer you can see herds grazing in the high mountain pastures. Col de l'Encrenaz.
